Project Overview

The gender component in KP-HCIP focuses on ensuring that health services are equitable, inclusive, and responsive to the different needs of women, men, and vulnerable groups. A central priority of this component is the prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), Sexual Harassment (SH), and workplace harassment, which directly undermine dignity, safety, and access to services.

The gender component supports the implementation of the Code of Conduct, staff awareness and training, strengthened reporting and grievance mechanisms, and survivor-centered complaint handling. By integrating gender considerations into project activities, KP-HCIP promotes respectful workplace practices and builds a safe, accountable, and dignified environment for both service providers and beneficiaries.
